SPORTS: Victor Oshimen may sue club Napoli over Tiktok video mocking him for missing penalty
Napoli and Nigerian forward Victor Oshimen is reserving the right to take legal actions against the club after a strange video was posted on the official TikTok account of the club mocking him for missing the penalty against Bologna.
The Napoli and the Nigerian super star Victor Oshimen leads the team to victory during the last season campaign to there third time Italian Serie A tittle after netting 26 goals and providing 4 assists in 32 league games. Victor Oshimen who was also named the best striker in the Italian Serie A during the 2022/2023 seasons after there league triumph.

Victor Oshimen was also shortlisted alongside some great players like Lionel Andrés Messi Cuccitini, Kevin De Bruyne, Erling Haaland, Kylian Mbape and so on in the 2023 thirty men shortlist for the 2023 Ballon d’or.
Napoli posted a video that illustrates Oshimen begging for a penalty with a background voice of a baby and also shows where the forward missed the penalty with a baby voice laughing underneath the video.
The agent of the player Roberto Calenda in collaboration with the player has expressed consideration of taking legal action against the club.
In a post on his X (formerly known as Twitter) account, the agent said the clip could cause serious damage to the player, stating that the management may take legal action against the club.
“What happened today on Napoli’s official profile on the TikTok platform is not acceptable,”
“A video mocking Victor was first made public and then, but now belatedly, deleted. A serious fact that causes very serious damage to the player and adds to the treatment that the boy is suffering in the last period between media trials and fake news. We reserve the right to take legal action and any useful initiative to protect Victor.” the post reads.
