• OSPOLY Declares Matriculation Date For Fresh Students, Says Failure To Return Gown Attracts #1000 Fine

    The Management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree has announced Thursday, April 10th, 2025, as the matriculation ceremony day for the newly-admitted HND1, ND1 and NCE1 students.


    This was disclosed in an internal memorandum released today Thursday and signed by Mrs. M.O. Adeleke for the Deputy Registrar of the institution.


    According to the memo, it was noted that it is compulsory for the students to sign Matriculation Oath and Matriculation Register after the ceremony.


    However, the memo added that any student who fails to attend and does not sign the Matriculation Oath and Register shall be sanctioned accordingly.






    Similarly, in a separate internal memorandum, students were urged to take heed of the following instructions:


    -All concerned students as at Wednesday, 9th April, 2025 must take part in Matriculation Ceremony 

    -Any student who fails to register and consequently does not matriculate forfeit his/her admission 

    -Academic Gowns will be available for collection from the Faculty Officers as from Thursday, 8th April, 2025

    -All academic gowns collected for the ceremony must be returned unfailingly to the Faculty Officers before the close of work on Friday 11th, April, 2025

    -Failure to return the Gown by any student shall attract a fine of #1,000 per day of default, this is also subjected to upward review and further sanctions
