• Governor Demands 168m Damages From Students


    The students of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo are to pay a sum of 168 million naira for damages.

    This was disclosed recently by Ondo state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu.

    According to the governor, the money is to pay for the damages incurred when the students of the school protested on January, 2018 against no school fees no examination policy introduced by the school Management.

    The governor stressed that no student will be allowed into the school without payment of the damages.

    "The students should appreciate the facilities provided for them for learning instead of damaging it," he added.
