Ospoly Students Unionism Resumes May 14

The Osun State Polytechnic, Iree has announced that the institution will lift the ban on the activities of Students Union Government of the school on May 14, 2018.

This was made known on Friday in a memo signed by Gbadamosi L. on behalf of the Dean of Students Affairs.

The institution placed a ban on students unionism on campus for almost a session while it constituted a caretaker committee to champion the interest of the students. 

The ban is said to be related with the unrest on campus which was an aftermath of the inconclusive 2016/2017 Students Union Government election.

However, electioneering campaign is  set to officially commence from May 14 till when the aspirants will go to the polls on May 31.
