NANS Calls for Prosecution of Sex Seeking Lecturer
The National Association of Nigerian Students has called for the prosecution of professor Akindele Johnson who was recently sacked from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife for allegedly seeking for sex in return for marks from a female student.
While thanking the management of the institution for sacking the embattled lecturer, the National president of NANS, Aruna Kadiri said in a press release issued today that the management should prosecute the lecturer for bringing the name of the school to mod.
"So what OAU has done on this matter is well commendable and NANS appreciates it as a union. It will serve as a warning to every other lecturer that they cannot be harassing our ladies in any form," the students leader said.
