Osinbajo urges automotive industry stakeholders to focus on vehicle financing
Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, has called on stakeholders in the automotive industry to pay more attention to vehicle refinancing to advance the sector.
The vice president made the call on Tuesday when he received a call at the Presidential Villa a delegation of International Automotive Investors comprising Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and other stakeholders.
According to him, it is impossible to have a successful automotive sector without a robust vehicle finacing regime.
Osinbajo said that stakeholders needed to form formidable working groups that would deliberate and come up with a seamless implementation approach that would address challenges in critical components of the automotive sector.
