OSSCEILA Student, Comrade Niniola Jelili Emerges As Osun NANS JCC Chairman

Comrade Niniola Jelili from Osun State College Of Education Ila-Orangun has been elected as Osun NANS JCC chairman, at the just concluded NANS convention, which was held at College of Health Technology Ilesa, today.

This was made known through a release signed by the convention chairman, Comrade Esiegbe Emmanuel and the convention clerk Comrade Adegoke Abiodun.

The release subsequently added that Comrade Adedoyin Ridwan from Osun State University was also elected as the General Secretary.

According to the release, the office of the Public relation officer has been scheduled to be filled at the next Senate meeting as it was unable to be done today.

The report reads;  “The umbrella body of students in Osun State, National Association of Nigerian Students NANS/Joint Campus Committee held it's elective convention today Tuesday 23rd August 2022 at the College of Health Technology, Ilesa”.

“The convention produced the following leaders to pilot the affairs of the Association for the next dispensation”.

“Comrade Niniola Jelili from Osun State College of Education Ila-Orangun was elected and returned as Osun NANS/JCC chairman”.

“Comrade Adedoyin Ridwan from Osun State University was elected and returned as General Secretary”.

“However, the office of the Public relation officer could not be filled, as it was decided that it should be filled at the next Senate Meeting.(one of the contestants of the PRO filled a form for the post of chairman and was nominated for the PRO)”.

Recall that the Chairmanship election was also attempted by three different students from Osun State Polytechnic,iree, Bamigboye Oluwadamilola who is popularly known as (Dammy Gold), Akande Michael fondly called  (Action) and Onawale Sodeeq Opeyemi whose sobriquet is (Chinbo Lee).
