JUST IN: ISEC Lifts Ban On FICT Political Activities
The independent Students Electoral Commission(ISEC) for the Faculty of information and communication technology has lifted the ban on the political activities of the faculty.
This was disclosed in a memo signed by the Chairman, Onawale Sodeeq Opeyemi and circulated on the 21st of September, 2022.
The lifted ban was as a result of the recent selection of ISEC executives.
Moreso, it has directed all aspirants at the faculty level to start their declaration of ambition and political campaigns immediately. The memo, reads;
“As a result of the selection of the Independent Student Electional Committee (ISEC) for the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology”
“The above committee thereby lift the election ban on the electoral activities “
“Therefore, all aspirant at the Faculty level can start campaign and declare their ambition”
“All other information will be disseminated as need arises”.
