• BREAKING: OSPOLY Welcomes First Batch Of Degree Students On Campus Tour

    Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has officially welcomed its first set of degree program students, marking a historic milestone in the institution’s academic growth. The new students participated in a comprehensive familiarization tour of the campus as of yesterday, 26th September, 2025, designed to introduce them to the school’s facilities, faculty members, and academic culture.


    This development follows the polytechnic’s strategic partnership with two prestigious universities—University of Ilorin and Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka—to offer full-time degree programs on the Iree campus.


    Below are the degree programs now available.


    Through this collaboration, students can now pursue a variety of courses, including


    Mathematics (Faculty of Science)


    Microbiology


    Mass Communication


    Computer Science


    Electrical/Electronic Engineering


    Mechanical Engineering


    Business Administration


    Accounting


    Admission Requirements


    To qualify for admission, applicants are generally required to:


    Score 180 or above in the Post-UTME examination


    Meet the specific course requirements and appropriate JAMB subject combinations


    Obtain five credit passes in relevant subjects (including English Language and Mathematics) in WAEC, NECO, or GCE.



    Furthermore, the management explained that the collaboration with the University of Ilorin and Nnamdi Azikiwe University aims to combine high academic standards with practical training, ensuring that graduates are well-prepared for today’s competitive job market.


    The familiarization tour reflects the polytechnic’s commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment, helping students settle into their new academic journey with confidence.
