OSPOLY Announces Friday, Sep 5th, 2025 For SUG Election, Sets Wednesday 3rd For Mock-Election

The Management of Osun State Polytechnic (OSPOLY), Iree, has fixed Friday, September 5th, 2025 for the conduction of 2025/2026 Student Union Government (SUG) election at the Institution.
The announcement was made known by Students' Affairs Officer, Mr. Paul Olawoyin during a crucial meeting with representatives of the Management, Stakeholders, Faculty Presidents, Departmental Presidents and Governor of each departments at the Board of Studies (BOS) Hall of the Institution.
He also added that the forthcoming election will be electronic voting and the mock-election would come up tomorrow, Wednesday 3rd September, 2025.
He emphasized that the essence of the election is to test-run the whole process of election online prior to the election date, noting that it would be between two department which include Mass Communication and Science Laboratory Technology Department (SLT).
"A Memo will be written to all Academic Staff that there shouldn't be Lectures, Submission of Assignments and Project Supervision and any student caught within the campus premises will be dealt with," Mr. Olawoyin said.
