    The Independent Students Electoral Commission (ISEC) has today, after the completion of election declared Ajayi Kehinde Emmanuel popularly addressed as Sir Kenny as Students Union Government (SUG) President for the 2025/2026 academic session.


    The announcement was made by the ISEC Chairman, Soyinka Abraham at the situation room together with other ISEC officials, the Rector of Institution, Mr. Kehinde Alabi, Deputy Rector, Dr. Gboyega Oyeleke, Registrar, Mr. Oloyede Abiodun, Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Tope Abiola, Director of Media, Publicity and Protocols, Mr. Bayo Fadeji and others.

    The President-elect, Ajayi secured 914 votes, surpassing his sole rivals, Oladeji Israel (Issy), who garnered 412 votes and Ilori Stephen (Analog), who had 219 votes.

    Other elected members of the Students Union Government Executives for the 2025/2026 academic session include:


    Vice President;

    Abdulsalam Oyatoye with 875 votes, surpassing his opponent, Emmanuel Olarunnisola who had 445 votes.


    General Secretary;

    Anuoluwapo Odudu had 856 votes over his rival, Abdulquadri Adeleke who had 372 votes.


    Treasurer;

    Fridaos Bello, unopposed, had 1074 votes.

    Welfare Director;

    Wariths Adeniyi got 967 votes without an opponent.


    Public Relations Officer;

    Lateef Akinloye secured 979 votes unopposed.


    Sports Director;

    Moses Adeboye emerged winner with 940 votes more than his challengers, Olayemi Sekoni, who had 57 votes and Olawale Adesoji, who had 51 votes.

    Assistant General Secretary;

    Mariam Jimoh won with 628 votes outshining her contender, Abdullahi Olagunju with 388 votes.


    Social Director;

    Tomiwa Aderounmu emerged with 976 votes without an opponent.


    Financial Secretary;

    Oni Joshua, unopposed triumphed with 1018 votes.


    Auditor;

    Idris Kolapo, had 953 votes without any competitor.
