JUST IN: Peace Restored as NAMACOS SRC, Executives Settle Receipt Issue

The Students’ Representative Council (SRC) of the National Association of Mass Communication Students (NAMACOS), Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has confirmed that the dispute surrounding the unauthorized issuance of NAMACOS official receipts has been amicably resolved.

This development follows earlier concerns raised by the SRC over the issuance of official receipts to students without prior legislative approval, which prompted a formal petition to the NAMACOS Executives.

According to a message received from the SRC, both parties have since engaged in constructive dialogue, leading to a peaceful resolution of the matter in line with constitutional provisions and mutual understanding.

The SRC noted that necessary steps have now been taken to address the issues identified, emphasizing that the resolution was achieved through cooperation, respect for due process, and commitment to the interests of students.

The council reaffirmed its dedication to transparency, accountability, and harmonious working relationships with the NAMACOS Executives, while also stressing the importance of adherence to legislative and constitutional procedures in all association affairs.
