JUST IN: OSPOLY Photography Department Unveils Official Logo

The Department of Photography Technology (DEPHOTECH), Osun State Polytechnic ( OSPOLY ), Iree, has officially unveiled its departmental logo in a move aimed at strengthening the department’s identity and professional outlook.
The Acting Head of Department, Adekunle Sikiru, disclosed this in Iree, Osun State, noting that the introduction of the logo marks a significant milestone in the development of the department.
According to him, the unveiling of the departmental logo represents the department’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and professionalism in photographic practice and visual communication.
“The unveiling of this departmental logo is a step towards building a stronger identity for the Department of Photography Technology. It reflects our commitment to excellence, innovation, and professionalism in photographic practice and visual communication,” he said.
Sikiru further explained that the logo symbolizes creativity, professionalism, and the technological advancement associated with photography.
He added that the emblem reflects the vision and mission of the department in training students to become skilled professionals in photography, visual storytelling, and digital imaging.
According to him, the logo will also serve as a unifying symbol for students, staff, and alumni of the department.
Meanwhile, during an interview with the President of the National Association of Mass Communication Students (NAMACOS), the student leader described the development as a significant achievement for the department.
He stated that the unveiling of the logo marks an important step in strengthening the identity and pride of the Department of Photography Technology.
“The logo stands as a symbol of creativity, uniqueness, unity, love, pride, and progress for every student of Photography Technology,” he said.
He further described the Department of Photography Technology as a creative and dynamic department dedicated to nurturing talented individuals in the art and science of photography.
According to him, the department serves as a platform where students are trained not only to capture moments but also to tell meaningful stories through images, develop technical skills, and contribute positively to the media and creative industry.
