TRAGEDY: OSPOLY Mass Comm Dept Mourns ND I Student, Oludele Seyi Marvelous

The Department of Mass Communication, Osun State Polytechnic (OSPOLY), Iree, has been thrown into mourning following the death of an ND I student, Oludele Seyi Marvelous, after a prolonged illness.

The sad incident was confirmed yesterday after reports gathered from people close to the deceased revealed that he had been battling with the sickness even before gaining admission into the institution.

According to information gathered, the late student resumed for the first semester despite his health condition. However, during the semester, his condition reportedly worsened, leading to his return home for proper medical treatment.

Despite efforts made toward his treatment, he later passed away.

The death of the student has generated reactions within the institution, as students, stakeholders, and members of the Department of Mass Communication expressed sadness over the loss.

The Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (FICT), alongside students and stakeholders within the department, also extended their condolences to the family of the deceased, praying for strength and comfort during the difficult period.
