JUST IN: NAMACOS SRC Set to Hold 2026 Legislative Summit July 23
The Student Representative Council (SRC) of the National Association of Mass Communication Students (NAMACOS), Osun State Polytechnic (OSPOLY), Iree, has announced plans to hold its 2026 Legislative Summit on Thursday, July 23.
The summit, themed "The Power of Representation: Honouring Excellence in Student Leadership," is scheduled to begin at 12:00 p.m. at NLH 1, beside the Department of Mass Communication.
According to the memo, the programme is designed to promote quality representation, responsible leadership, and active participation in student governance. It will also honour individuals who have distinguished themselves through exemplary leadership and service within the department.
The Speaker of the NAMACOS SRC, Sen. Benjamin Itunu Olaoye (Minooo), called on students to attend the summit, describing it as an opportunity to learn, engage, and celebrate excellence in student leadership.
The invitation was conveyed through the Clerk of the Council, Sen. Obafemi Olawale Olamilekan (Uriel), who encouraged all Mass Communication students to participate in the programme.
