JUST IN: OSPOLY ISEC Opens Sale of 2026/2027 SUG Nomination Forms
The Independent Student Electoral Commission (ISEC) has announced the commencement of the sale and collection of nomination forms for students aspiring to contest in the 2026/2027 Students’ Union Government (SUG) elections.
The announcement was contained in an official memorandum issued on Thursday, September 3, 2026, by the ISEC General Secretary, Shittu Faruq, and signed by the ISEC Chairman, Adeniyi Adekunle Raphael.
According to the commission, interested aspirants are expected to purchase and collect their nomination forms at the SUG Building before the stipulated deadline.
ISEC stated that the deadline for payment and collection of nomination forms is Tuesday, September 8, 2026, while completed forms must be submitted on or before Wednesday, September 9, 2026.
The commission urged all interested students to obtain and submit their forms within the specified period, stressing that aspirants who fail to meet the deadlines would not be considered eligible candidates for the election.
The memorandum, disseminated by the ISEC Public Relations Officer, Olayinka Victoria Pelumi, was issued on behalf of the ISEC Executives for the 2026/2027 electoral process.
The commission further called on all aspirants to comply with the guidelines and deadlines to ensure a smooth and credible electoral process.
