MAOS to Hold 12th AGM in Osogbo, Unveil Legacy Hub Project
The Mass Communication Alumni of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree (MAOS), will hold its 12th Annual General Meeting (AGM) from Friday, November 20 to Sunday, November 22, 2026, at the NUJ Event Centre, Osogbo, Osun State.
The association leadership, led by its President, Comrade Adekunle Sikiru, announced the event in a statement made available to members.
According to the organisers, the AGM will bring together former students of the Department of Mass Communication, including members of the graduating sets, to reconnect, deliberate on the association's progress, and discuss issues affecting its development.
A major highlight of this year's gathering will be the unveiling of the MAOS Legacy Hub, a new project initiated by the association to promote its long-term development.
The leadership disclosed that members had already contributed millions of naira towards the commencement of the project.
The organisers also called on set coordinators and class representatives to mobilise their members and ensure their participation in the three-day event.
They added that details regarding registration, accommodation and other activities lined up for the AGM would be communicated to members in due course.

The 12th AGM is expected to provide an opportunity for members to reconnect, strengthen relationships, and deliberate on the future direction of MAOS.
