JUST IN: OSPOLY Mass Comm HOD, Akinrosoye Urges Students To Join NEB

The Head of Department of Mass Communication, Osun State Polytechnic, (OSPOLY) Iree, Dr. Idowu Akinrosoye has advised the newly admitted ND 1 and HND 1 students of the department to join Namacos Editorial Board (NEB) to enhance their academic performance in the institution.
Dr Akinrosoye stated this today, Monday February 24, 2025 while speaking at the Orientation Programme organized by the National Association of Mass Communication Students (NAMACOS) Executives for the fresh students of the department at New Lecture Hall (NLH 1).
He noted that “there are lot of group and board that the students can join to enhance their academics life and their practical knowledge in Mass Communication field like the NAMACOS Editorial Board (NEB) which is a Board of Academics Excellence and Practical Oriented.”
Moreso, he enjoined the newly admitted students of the department to join the board and also refrain from any bad gang or group.
He stressed further on the need for the students to be serious with their academics as that is the only required sacrifice that can guarantee their success in the academic journey.
In a similar vein, the President of the National Association of Mass Communication Department Comrade Shuaib Abdullateef Abolaji also in his opening speech congratulated the students and urged them not to forget their primary aim of coming to the Institution so as to be successful at the end of their stay in the school.
