JUST IN: Ospolyiree Alumni President, Alh Yakub Donates #150,000 To Revamp SUB Roof

The National President of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree Alumni Association (OSPAA), Alhaji Yakub Akeem Adebayo has donated one hundred and fifty thousand naira (#150,000) to renovate the roof of the Students Union Building.
This was made known in an official statement issued by the National Publicity Secretary of the Association, Adekunle Sikiru (Abacus).
The donation was made to mark his birthday and fulfill his earlier promise to support the renovation of the building following the appeal of the Chairperson of the Students Union Committee, Comrade Olaniyi Ajoke Deborah.
The President who led Ospoly Alumni delegates which include the General Secretary, Hon Akeula Kolawole (Barthez); the Treasurer, Mr Muideen Makinde; the Auditor, Alh Akeem Actor and the National Publicity, Adekunle Sikiru (Abacus) on the inspection the SUG Building, pledged to renovate the roof personally without using Alumni funds.
The President who decided to mark his birthday with lots of humanitarian activities in the early hours of today, donated the sum to Students Union Caretaker Committee among others.
In addition to #150,000 donation, Adebayo gave another sum of #100,000 to celebrate his birthday on the WhatsApp Platform of Ospolyiree Alumni Association.
However, his kindness and generosity have sparked gratitude and appreciation from the entire OSPOLY community.
According to them, the donation is commendable as Osun State Polytechnic, Iree has been witnessing several developmental landmarks during the administration of OSPOLY Rector, Comrade Kehinde Alabi, the OSPAA President, Alh Yakub Akeem Adebayo and the SUC Chairperson, Olaniyi Ajoke.
It was therefore added that the renovation will commence immediately without further delay.
