“Traders Under Trees To Move To Either Motion Ground 1 or 2,” OSPOLY Mgt
The Director of Works and Services of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Engineer J.A. Abiola has stated that the management of the Institution has implemented directives to all traders of consumable and stationaries items under the trees and other undesignated places in the campus to move to either motion ground 1 or 2 for their trading activities.
Eng. Abiola mentioned this today during an interview session with NEB Reporters in his Office, stating that the directive of the management is for the progress of the Institution and also help students to face and overcome challenges of life and also boost the Internal Generating Revenue (IGR) of the Institution.
He added that OSPOLY is among the best six Polytechnic in Nigeria which should serve as a role model to other institution and students are also expected to support the management in organizing a standard and neat environment by donating waste baskets in which the Student Union and leaders of the Institution are expected to enforce the usage of the waste basket on the students.
In a similar vein, Eng. Abiola also stressed that the Institution will be starting the building of the proposed School Hostel which will be beneficial to the Students of the Institution (OSPOLY) and the University Affiliate students of Unilorin and Nnamdi Azikiwe University.
He stressed further that the hostel will be full of different basic amenities like Water, Electricity, Salon, Point of Sales stand and so on, in which the security of the students in that hostel is also guaranteed.
However, he enjoined the students of the Institution to always keep the Institution clean and neat at all time.
