NAOSS National President, Adedibu Declares Govt Approval On Bursary Payment To Final Year Students
The National President of Osun State Students, Comrade Adedibu Mustafa Akinsumbo, has declared that the Osun State Government has approved bursary for all Osun graduating students.
He declared this today while speaking during Interfaith Educational Programme tagged “Interfaith Education: Teaching Respect and Understanding,” organized by National Association Osun State Students (NAOSS) Osun State Polytechnic (OSPOLY), Iree Chapter under the leadership of Comrade Abiodun Samuel Emmanuel (Mr. Bernard) at Multipurpose Hall (MPH 2) of the institution.
While speaking, Mustafa emphasized that among the benefits embedded in NAOSS include fighting injustice for students while he implored Osun students to actively participate in NAOSS activities for the sake of its diverse benefits to be entitled to.
Adedibu also added that the chapter President of each local government will liaise with OSPOLY Dean Students Affairs to get list of Osun final year students while it will be submitted to ministry of education for approval.
He said Chapter President will collate students’ account numbers for payment of bursary to all qualified students stating that the sum of #20,000 will be given to each students by the government and there might be additional sum to the proposed amount.
However, Adedibu stated that Osun final year students will apply for bursary payment with the sum of #2,000.
