• OSPOLY Announces #5,000 Fine For Late Course Registration, Refusal To Pay Before Dealine

    Osun State Polytechnic, Iree (OSPOLY), has announced the sum of Five Thousand Naira (#5,000) fine for any students who has paid school fees but fails to undertake course registration and any students who refuses to pay before the deadline.


    In an internal memorandum released today 27th March, 2025 and signed by the School Registrar, Mr. Abiodun Oloyede, it stated that all regular students registration for 2024/2025 academic session will close on Tuesday 8th April, 2025.


    The memo further noted that newly NDI and HNDI, as well as returning NDII and HNDII would have paid school fees and complete course registration before deadline.


    It was also added any fresh students who fails to complete registration formalities before the deadline would not be allowed to participate in the matriculation ceremony which was stated to hold immediately after registration deadline.


    "It should be noted that the matriculation ceremony for the 2024/2025 academic session is to hold immediately after the deadline for registration and any new student who fails to complete the registration formalities before the deadline would not be allowed to participate in the matriculation ceremony," the memo emphasized.


    Also, the memorandum explained that "a late registration fee of Five Thousand Naira (5,000) would be charged for any student who paid the prescribed school fees but fails to undertake course registration.


    "Equally, a fine of Five Thousand Naira (#5,000) shall be paid by any student who refuses to pay before the deadline.


    However, the memo, enjoined re-runners among returning students or other category of students to pay and register before deadline maintaining that failure to do so, a fine of Ten Thousand Naira (10,000) shall be imposed.
