BREAKING: MSSN OSPOLY Holds Handover Ceremony, Inducts New Leaders

The Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN), Osun State Polytechnic, Iree Chapter, has inaugurated a new set of executives for the 2025/2026 academic session. The handover ceremony which was held today 14th, September, 2025 took place at the White Mosque, opposite Captain Cook, Poly Junction, Iree, Osun State.
However, The Guest lecturer Ustaz Qozeem Afolabi delivered a thought-provoking lecture on the theme “Trustworthy,” stressing that trust is the lifeline of every successful organization.
"Trust is the glue that holds every human interaction together. Without it, no society, organization, or even family can survive,” he said. “Leaders must build trust, sustain it, and never betray the confidence of those they lead.”
Afolabi reminded the new officers that the strength of MSSN lies in its members, urging them to promote teamwork, fairness, and inclusiveness while steering the society toward continued growth.
The outgoing Amir, in his farewell address, thanked Allah for a successful tenure and encouraged the incoming team to balance religious duties with academic excellence.

The event ended with prayers for wisdom and guidance as the new officers commenced their tenure. Members expressed optimism that the council would uphold MSSN’s legacy of faith, service, and academic excellence while sustaining the momentum of previous administrations.
