JUST IN: OSPOLY Sets Payment Deadline, Acceptance Fee for Jambite 2025/2026
The management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has issued a new directive to all newly admitted students regarding the payment of their acceptance fees.
This was released in an internal memorandum signed by the Registrar, Mr. Abiodun O. Oloyede, who announced that students have until Wednesday, November 12, 2025, to complete the payment of their acceptance fees or risk forfeiting their admission.
According to the memo dated October 31, 2025, the management observed that a large number of newly admitted students only accepted their admission offers on the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) without paying the statutory acceptance fee into the institution’s account.
The Registrar emphasized that accepting admission on JAMB CAPS alone does not confirm a candidate’s admission until the acceptance fee has been paid.
The memo further stated that the payment of the acceptance fee is a crucial step in the admission confirmation process. All students who fall within this category are therefore urged to pay their acceptance fees promptly and proceed to the admission office and their respective faculties for necessary screening and documentation.
Failure to comply with this directive, the management warned, will lead to the forfeiture of admission. Candidates who do not pay the acceptance fee before the stipulated deadline will have their admission offers withdrawn and may be replaced with other candidates on the waiting list.
In addition, the Registrar advised newly admitted students to take advantage of the Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) initiative.
Mr. Oloyede stated that the NELFUND program would help in cushioning the effect of financial hardship currently faced by some students.
The memo concluded by urging all newly admitted students to strictly adhere to the provisions of the directive, stressing that the policy was made in their best interest.
