• JUST IN: OSPOLY Closes Admissions for 2025/2026 Session, Sets Deadline for Acceptance Fees

    By Samuel Akintola

The Management of Osun State Polytechnic (OSPOLY), Iree, has announced the closure of admissions into its regular programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session, alongside the shutdown of the portal for payment of acceptance fees by newly admitted students.

The announcement was made on a record issued on Friday by the Registrar of the Polytechnic, Mr. Abiodun O. Oloyede.

According to the statement, the admission portal for all regular programmes has officially been closed, while application forms for the Daily Part-Time and Weekend Part-Time programmes remain open and ongoing.

The management warned that newly admitted students who fail to pay their acceptance fees, complete their screening exercise, and finalize their course registration risk losing their provisional admission.

The statement noted that affected candidates may forfeit their admission from Monday, 19th January, while the institution will automatically block the portal against defaulters by the close of work on Wednesday, 21st January.

The Registrar further disclosed that academic activities have fully commenced across all levels, including ND I, HND I, HND II, and NCE I, except for ND II students, who are currently on Industrial Work Experience (SIWES).

In a related development, the management also announced that students admitted into the University of Ilorin Affiliated Programme at OSPOLY will undergo their orientation exercise on Tuesday, 20th January.

Osun State Polytechnic advised all concerned students to comply promptly with the directives.
