OSPOLY: MAOS Launches One Million Naira Support Fund, Award Six Best Students

The Mass Communication Alumni of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree chapter, has launched a one million naira support fund, to enhance learning facilities for students.
The President of the association, Femi Salawu, who was also former Editor-In-Chief of NEB, 2005/2006 set, announced this while giving his speech at the NAMACOS symposium programme, held on Monday.
“This fund is launched to provide Generator to power the radio and television studio of Mass Communication Department, as well as to promote online radio platform for Ospoly FM,” He stated.

He subsequently added that the Adetoye Feranmi scholarship fund has also been launched to support the six best-selected students.
In his words, “FERANMI SCHOLARSHIP AWARD is a yearly program of MAOS which is one of her ways to give back to alma Mata and to encourage upcoming MAOSites”.
Following are the name and CGPA of the six best-selected students in the 2020/2021 session, who bagged the scholarship awards, as supplied by the management of the department; Abiodun Iyinola Emmanuel ND 1 (DPT) with 3.36 CGPA; Ajani H. Olarenwaju ND 1 (DPT) with 3.33 CGPA; Asiyanbi Abraham Blessing ND 2 (full time) with 3.41 CGPA; Ogundepo Idayat Omotoke (full time) with 3.41 CGPA ND 2; Okunola Taye HND 2 with 3.26 and Adebayo Ruth Timileyin HND 2 with 3.29.

However, the Head of Department, Tope Abiola on behalf of the management and the recipients of the awards thanked MAOS leaders and the entire members for the kind gesture.
Abiola also prayed for more grace to even do more for the department.
