PRO Counter, Describes Suspension As Selfish Interest of Senate President

The suspended Public Relation Officer of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology Student’s Legislative Council, Comrade Olawaye Temidayo, alias Paparazzy has contended with the action of the body, describing his suspension as illegal and of the selfish interest of the Senate President.

Paparazzy contended that the suspension letter which contained the greediness and maladministration of both the President, Jude Amolegbe, and the Speaker, Ishola Sherif, is what led to his suspension. Adding that it was due to the way he usually corrects the duo from corrupt practices.

While speaking on what triggered the suspension, he said he only saw a memo posted by one of the faculty contestants about students being called to collect their incentives without the senate president informing them (executive) in their platform.

Temidayo said he took the memo to the group to challenge the senate president (ishow) and the faculty president (Jude) on why they made a such move without informing other executive members but Ishow cussed him, in return.

"This was what made me reply the curses," Olawoye Temidayo noted.

“So I took the memo to the group comprising the executive and legislative arm and challenged Jude and speaker on it.

“what I saw next as a reply is voice note from the speaker (Ishow) with curses, telling me I can't face him, I retaliated with him and the issue escalated, “ he said.

Paparazzy, however, made it known that when he saw the senate president (ISHOW), on Wednesday, he went to challenge him about the former ordeal, but Ishow cussed again and threatened to hit him with charms.

Olawoye Temidayo added that the Faculty President, Jude Amolegbe, also sided Senate president by "cursing me as well. So I am wondering, If I am suspended for foul language, who will help me suspend both the President and the Speaker for using the same foul language, against me?"

Worthy of note, NEB reporters had obtained several voice notes of curses from both the Senate President and the PRO.

Olawoye Temidayo also added that the administration of Jude Amolegbe has amounted to no success over the years and this was the basis of his argument before he was always misquoted, cursed, and threatened to be suspended.

Temidayo said, "there was no physical project, no salary was paid to the executive members aside from the 14,000 two month salaries I collected and 15,000 budget for Public Relations activities since the beginning of the administration, until now. And when you ask them, they will say there is no money, there is no money. Is there no money in the purse? How?"

The Financial Secretary of the Association, Kehinde Hussein alias SBO also noted that Paparazzy was just being impatient, though was right in some cases.

"He was suspended for the drift that happened yesterday. And he was fighting with the speaker of the faculty.

"All I can say is Paparazzy just always needs to be calming down…Like calming down down down

    Lol.

"No lies. Paparazzy is right about the salary. But about the physical project. It’s been worked on. And with the incentive too concurrently. The physical project will be unveiled soon.

"Probably Paparazzy was just impatience that it has not been unveiled. It was once discussed within the executives include Paparazzy and all of us."

Contrastingly, Temidayo has tackled that "1:they talked about library they speaker objected that the money is too much

2:we talked about relaxation Centre he objected again because of fund

Lastly, he mentioned doing flag at the faculty office later he Said since faculty have collected printer he is no longer doing anything again.

"That there’s no money again in the faculty purse that’s where d fight started.

"Did he say he wanted to do it again if yes but I learnt he said there’s no money so where will he get the fund from or is he doing it out of frustration ðŸ™„"

Efforts to reach the FICT President Jude Amolegbe at the moment were proven abortive as he read and left our WhatsApp messages with no reply.
