SUG ELECTION: ISEC Excludes PATH, Others From Participation
The independent Student Electoral Commission of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has released a list of eligible candidates for 2022/2023 SUG election which excluded the name of Path and other participants.
This was contained in a list released to the general public with the signature of ISEC chairman Mr Tisado Josiah and Abdulrasak Soliat the public relation officer.
According to the list, only 13 participants are qualified for the SUG election.
Following are the names and post made available as eligible contestants ; AZEEZ TAJUDEEN ADEBAYO (Honourable)- President ; Oluyeye Kayode Alade (PKAY)- General Secretary; Adebayo Afees (physo)-Financial Secretary; OYENIYI SHERIFFDEEN AYOMIDE ( BRIGHT)- Assistant Gen Sec; ATEWOGBADE SODIO AYODEJI (God’s Time)-Assistant Gen Sec; AKOGUN JOSHUA TEMITOPE (MOJ)- Welfare director ; OGUNGBEMI FLORENCE (Lizzy Aluta)- Treasurer ; OLADOKUN DOYINSOLA PRECIOUS (Express) - Social director ; OSHOKOYA AZEEZ OLANRE WAJU- (DJ EAZI) - Social Director ; ADELEKE KEHINDE (Dave Spenzer)- Auditor ; KOLAWOLE OLAPOSI ( Boro)- Director of Sport ; OLAJIDE OLARINDE(NOKIA)- Director of Sport; DARAMOLA PELUMI STEPHEN( Dass) - Public Relation Officer.
While speaking with the ISEC chairman on the reasons for the exclusion of Path’s name, he made it known that his CGPA is not worthy of the post according to the school constitution, while some names were excluded because they didn't submit their form.
It will be recall that the school management had released a report before, stating that member of SUG must have 2.50 CGPA without any carry over, while presidential Candidates must have the least of 2.70 CGPA.
