BREAKING: MAOS Sets To Hold One-Day Seminar For All Mass Comm Graduating Students On 28th Aug, 2025
Mass Communication Alumni Association (MAOS), Osun State Polytechnic (OSPOLY), Iree has officially announced one-day seminar for all Higher National Diploma (HND) and National Diploma (ND) graduating students.
The seminar themed "Exploring Solution Journalism For National Development," is to unfold at New Lecture Hall (NLH1) OSPOLYIree Campus, Osun State, Nigeria.
Among the discussants at the seminar, according to MAOS Public Relations Officer, Oyewale Oyelola include Dr. Aderemi Adeagbo (OSPOLY Lecturer), Mr. Tobi Folorunsho (UNIOSUN Lecturer), Mr. Michael Leshi (Broadcaster at Orisun Igbomina FM) and Oyewale Oyelola (NGIJ Vice President).
Also, the Station Manager of CHRICED Radio/TV, Omoniyi Busuyi Kolawole will on Thursday, August 28, 2025 lead presentation at one-day seminar for the graduating students Mass Communication.
Similarly, Omoniyi, a former Head of News for CoolFM/Wazobia/ArewaFM Kano and Training Consultant will also speak on the theme: Exploring Solution Journalism For National Development.
Meanwhile, the Rector of OSPOLY, Alhaji Kehinde Alabi, Dean of Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mr. Oladoye and Dean Student Affairs, Dr. Tope Abiola are expected to grace the occasion while Head of Mass Communication Department, Dr. Idowu Akinrosoye and MAOS President, Adekunle Sikiru will serve as Chief host and host respectively.
Nevertheless, the seminar organised by Mass Communication Alumni of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree (MAOS) is an annual event to bridge the gap between the classroom and happenings in media industry.
