JUST IN: OSPOLY Alumnus, Oyelola Emerges ASUP PRO
An Alumnus of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Oyelola Oyewale, who is currently a lecturer in the Mass Communication department of Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti, has emerged as the Public Relations Officer of Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP), Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti Chapter.
In a landmark victory, Oyelola polled 194-votes to defeat Mr Adelana of Urban and Regional Planning Department during held election on Tuesday at Conference.
During a presentation of his manifesto, the Media Expert pledged to launch ASUP-FPA Quarter Bulletin and ensure that the chapter's activities gets deserving media attention.
Oyelola was a former Editor, NAMACOS Editorial Board (NEB) at Osun State Polytechnic, Iree. He is currently the Vice President, Nigerian Guild of Investigative Journalists ( NGIJ) and Secretary, Association of Kwara Online Media Practitioners (ASKOMP).
He holds a Master's and a Higher National Diploma degree in Mass Communication. He also earned a Postgraduate Diploma in International Relations and Strategic Studies.
Oyelola joined Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti in 2019.
