BREAKING: OSPOLY Mgt Warns Students Against Unauthorized Tax Clearance Payments

The Management of Osun State Polytechnic (OSPOLY) Iree, has issued a stern warning statement for students to stop patronizing Cafe stands for their tax clearance.

This statement was made known through an internal memorandum released today 19th of August, 2025 from the office of the institution Registrar, Prince Abiodun Oloyede.

The memo noted further that Management has noticed that students are facing problem with the payment of their parents tax receipts, which is an important requirement for their registration process as a compulsory payment  mandated by the state government.

Moreso, the Management added that the student should stop patronizing unauthorised Cafe point on campus and direct students to the institution bursary as a designated office for the payment of tax clearance.

Furthermore, the management caution the Cafe point to stop forcing students for Tax clearance payment adding that anyone caught engaging in this act will be prosecuted in line with the state law.

Neverthless, Management added that the official rate for Tax clearance as demanded by the state government is listed below;

New one (Yearly) - #11,500.00

Renewal     - #4,500.00

In a similar vein, the memo issued a call to all Tax Marshall posted by the state government to work in the institution Tax office to note this memorandum for their guidance and compliance in order to avoid been sanctioned for violation of the rules and regulations guiding the above.
