JUST IN: FICT Announces Commencement of 2025/2026 Electoral Process
The Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (FICT), Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has officially announced the commencement of activities leading to the 2025/2026 Faculty Students’ Election, following the release of the election timetable by the Independent Student Electoral Commission (ISEC-FICT).
In a notice signed by the Faculty President, Hon. Comr. Okonkwo Paul Ekenedilichukwu (JohnPaul), and the General Secretary, Hon. Comr. Obawole Eniola Oluwabukumi (Mhiz Ennia), the council confirmed that the election schedule has been approved by the Directorate of Students’ Affairs and the Faculty Dean.
The council urged all interested aspirants to strictly adhere to the released timetable and electoral guidelines to ensure a peaceful, transparent, and credible election.

“We call on all students to actively participate in the process and support the growth and continuity of effective leadership within the Faculty,” the statement read.
The announcement, communicated through the Faculty Public Relations Officer, Hon. Comr. Ajayi Timilehin Israel (Timzexpert), further emphasized that discipline and unity among students will foster a smooth transition of leadership within the faculty.
