BREAKING: OSPOLY to Partner with Unilorin for HND-to-Bachelor's Degree Conversion Programme
Osun State Polytechnic (OSPOLY), Iree, has announced plans to launch a Higher National Diploma (HND) to Bachelor's Degree conversion programme in affiliation with the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN), commencing from the next academic session.
The announcement was made by the Rector of OSPOLY, Alhaji Kehinde Adeyemi Alabi, during a visit to the institution by Professor Yahya Oyewole Imam, Director of the Centre for Affiliated Institutions at the University of Ilorin.
This initiative builds on the existing collaboration between the two institutions. It will be recalled that OSPOLY recently commenced full-time Bachelor's degree programmes on its campus, duly approved and run in affiliation with UNILORIN. These include courses such as Mathematics, Microbiology, Mass Communication, Computer Science, Food Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, and Accounting.
The new HND conversion programme is specifically designed to provide a seamless pathway for HND holders to upgrade their qualifications to a university Bachelor's degree, addressing a long-standing need for polytechnic graduates seeking degree equivalence.
Similarly, efforts to reach the top management for further information and detailed reports have so far not yielded additional information.
