JUST IN: NAOSS Leadership Pays Courtesy Visit to OSPOLY Rector, Seeks Support for Students

The National Association of Osun State Students (NAOSS) Executives, Iree Chapter, on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to the Rector of Osun State Polytechnic (OSPOLY), Iree, who also serves as the Grand Patron of the association.
The delegation, led by the NAOSS President, Comrade Ajani Hammed Olamide, used the visit to discuss pressing challenges confronting students of Osun State and to reaffirm the association’s commitment to student welfare and academic excellence.
Addressing the Rector, Comrade Ajani highlighted key issues affecting students and emphasized NAOSS’s resolve to pursue lasting solutions through constructive engagement with relevant stakeholders. He reiterated that the current leadership remains focused on promoting the overall development of the union and protecting the interests of Osun State students.
In his response, the Rector, Alhaji Kehinde Alabi assured the student leaders of his continued support and cooperation. He pledged to remain accessible to the association at all times, stressing that his office would always be open to NAOSS. As Rector and Grand Patron, he described it as his responsibility to stand by the students and the institution, promising to provide guidance and necessary support whenever required.
Also speaking during the visit, the Patron of NAOSS, Mr. Bello Kabir, urged the executives to maintain a balance between leadership responsibilities and academic pursuits. He reminded them that effective leadership is demonstrated not only through advocacy but also through academic excellence and personal discipline.
On behalf of the association, Comrade Ajani expressed appreciation to both the Grand Patron and the Patron for their warm reception, encouragement, and commitment to the welfare of students. He assured them that the NAOSS leadership would continue to build on the achievements of previous administrations and contribute meaningfully to the growth of the union.
