Eid-el-Fitr: OSPOLY Rector Greets Muslims, Urges Prayers for Adeleke’s Victory
The Rector of Osun State Polytechnic Iree, Kehinde Adeyemi Alabi, has congratulated Muslim faithful on the celebration of Eid al-Fitr, marking the end of the Ramadan fast.
In a statement to the polytechnic community, the rector described the 30-day fasting period as a time of spiritual renewal and urged Muslims to remain steadfast in their faith and continue to uphold the values practiced during Ramadan.
He encouraged members of the institution to stay committed to the service of God and humanity, adding that the lessons of the fasting period should not be abandoned after the celebration.
The rector also called on the polytechnic community to continue praying for the Governor of Osun State, Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, ahead of the forthcoming August gubernatorial election.
He commended the governor’s contributions to the development of the state, particularly in the areas of education, infrastructure, healthcare, and social welfare.
According to him, continued support and prayers would enable the governor to sustain ongoing developmental efforts in the state.
