JUST IN: OSPOLY to Begin 8th Convocation Activities March 23 with Press Conference
Osun State Polytechnic Iree has announced that activities for its Combined 8th Convocation Ceremony will begin on Monday, March 23, 2026, with a press conference.
According to a statement signed by the Registrar, Abiodun O. Oloyede, the pre-convocation press conference will be addressed by the Rector, Kehinde Adeyemi Alabi, at the ETF Hall by 10:00 a.m., alongside members of the institution’s management.
The statement noted that other activities lined up for the ceremony include a novelty football match between staff and members of the alumni association on Tuesday, March 24.
On Wednesday, March 25, a convocation lecture will be delivered by Yakib Ayodele Afolabi of Federal University Oye-Ekiti, while the event will be chaired by Taiwo Olufemi Asaolu. The Rector’s cocktail party will also hold later that day at the Staff Club by 6:00 p.m.
The convocation ceremony will conclude on Thursday, March 26, with the award of prizes, diplomas, and certificates to graduands at the institution’s pavilion.
The Registrar also advised graduands to pay ₦5,000 for the convocation pack at the Bursary Department and proceed to the Academic Affairs Unit for collection.
