The Management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree has issued a warning to students about late registration for the 2025/2026 academic session.
This was contained in an internal memorandum released from the Office of the Registrar dated March 2, 2026, where the school expressed concern over what it described as a careless attitude by some students towards completing their registration on time.
According to the memo, the institution observed that many students have not taken the registration process seriously. As a result, the Management decided that such behavior should not continue because it can affect academic activities and the proper organization of the school system.
While giving students another opportunity, the Management announced a one-week extension for the registration exercise.
Students who have not completed their registration are expected to do so between March 2, 2026, and midnight of March 8, 2026.
The school also warned that any student who fails to complete the registration within this extended period will be required to pay a late registration fee of thirty thousand naira (₦30,000).
The extension is meant to allow concerned students enough time to arrange and pay their school fees so they can complete the process.
The memorandum was signed by Odedeyi A. J. on behalf of the Registrar, who also directed that the information should be widely circulated so that all students are aware of the deadline and avoid the extra payment.
