OSPOLY Directs HND Students from Part-Time ND Programme to Complete JAMB Regularization
Tbe management of Osun State Polytechnic (OSPOLY), Iree, has directed all Higher National Diploma (HND) students who graduated from the institution's Daily Part-Time National Diploma (ND) programme to regularize their admissions with the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to remain eligible for graduation and National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) mobilization.
The directive was contained in an internal memorandum signed by the Registrar after the institution discovered that several HND students had yet to complete the mandatory JAMB regularization process for their Part-Time ND admissions.
According to the memorandum, all affected students are required to visit any JAMB office to complete the regularization exercise. The institution stressed that students must use the same name as it appears on their ND results to ensure uniformity across their academic records.
The management explained that the directive is in line with JAMB's admission requirements and warned that failure to comply would have serious consequences.
It stated that any affected student who fails to regularize their admission using the correct and consistent name would not be eligible for graduation at the end of their HND programme.
The memorandum further warned that such students would also be ineligible for mobilization into the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), making the regularization exercise a compulsory requirement for all affected candidates.
The institution therefore urged all concerned students to comply with the directive without delay and called on members of the Polytechnic community to give the notice adequate publicity to ensure every affected student is informed.
