OSPOLY Makes Pre-Mobilization Briefing Mandatory for HND II Students

The Directorate of Student Affairs, Osun State Polytechnic (OSPOLY), Iree, has announced a compulsory pre-mobilization briefing for all Higher National Diploma (HND II) students to prepare them for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) mobilization process.
The directive was contained in an internal memorandum dated July 24, 2026, signed by Paul F. Olawoyin on behalf of the Dean of Student Affairs.
According to the memorandum, the management approved the briefing to educate and properly sensitize final-year students on the objectives, requirements, and procedures for NYSC mobilization, while addressing frequently asked questions ahead of graduation.
The briefing is scheduled for Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at the Education Trust Fund (ETF) Hall, beginning at 9:00 a.m.
The Directorate stated that the programme will provide prospective corps members with vital information required for a smooth mobilization process and ensure they understand the necessary guidelines before graduation.
The memorandum further emphasized that attendance is compulsory for all HND II students. It warned that any student who fails to attend will face appropriate sanctions, adding that an attendance register will be made available at the venue.
The management therefore urged all final-year HND students to attend the briefing as scheduled to avoid sanctions and to prepare for the NYSC mobilization exercise adequately.
