• OSPOLY Opens Admission for Health Information Management Programme

    Osun State Polytechnic (OSPOLY), Iree, has announced that admission is currently in progress for its National Diploma (ND) programme in Health Information Management ( HIM ), available in both Full-Time and Part-Time options.



    The programme is designed for candidates interested in building careers at the intersection of healthcare, information management and technology, with training focused on the management and handling of health information in healthcare settings.



    According to the admission information, prospective students will receive training relevant to health information management while gaining practical knowledge applicable to the healthcare sector.



    For the Full-Time programme, candidates are required to gain admission through UTME (JAMB), select Osun State Polytechnic, Iree as their institution of choice, and meet the required cut-off mark for Health Information Management.



    The Part-Time programme, on the other hand, provides a flexible study option for working individuals and others who require a more convenient academic schedule.



     According to the information provided by the department, UTME is not required for the Part-Time option, with candidates applying directly through the Polytechnic's portal.



    Applicants for both options are required to possess a minimum of five O'Level credits, including Mathematics, English Language, Biology/Health Science, Physics or Chemistry, and another relevant Science or Social Science subject. The required credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings.



    The department also highlighted its academic and practical facilities, including experienced personnel in Health Information Management and laboratory facilities designed to support students' learning.


    Speaking on the programme, the Head of Department, Mr. Oyewo Tobi Emmanuel, encouraged interested candidates seeking a career in health information management to take advantage of the ongoing admission opportunity.
