OSPOLY NAMACOS IP President, Michael Hails MAOS For Awarding Outstanding Students

The Immediate-Past President of National Association of Mass Communication Students (NAMACOS), Comrade Olowe Michael (AYNation), has lauded Mass Communication Alumni of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree Chapter, following its recent award presentation to the two outstanding students in the department.
This was disclosed in a statement obtained by Press men today, 24th February, 2025. Michael expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the incredible initiative that was carried out by MAOS.
“The scholarship awarded to the best students of Mass Communication during today’s orientation programme is not just an act of generosity. it is a testament statement to our our commitment to academic excellence, mentorship, and the future of our profession,” the release reads partly.
He maintained that while keeping the memory of Late Adetoye Feranmi, his dedication and commitment to Mass Communication department which will continue to lives in heart, remains an inspiration for excellence, hard-work.
Comrade Olowe commended the National President of MAOS, Mr. Adekunle Sikiru (Abacus) and other members of the executives for their corporate contributions on making the scholarship award presentation to the best students a reality. He said “Your efforts reflect the true spirit of our association, a community that not only supports its own but also nurtures the younger generation to succeed.”
He therefore appreciated the current administration, stating that “I am truly proud of what you are doing, and I encourage you to keep raising the bar.”
Meanwhile, Michael Olowe admonished the awarded students to see the scholarship as more than a financial assistance, however, “It is a call to greatness, a responsibility to uphold the values of excellence, integrity, and hard work.”
