The Department of Computer Science emerged as champions of the Dean’s Cup Competition after a hard-fought 1–0 victory over the Office Technology Management (OTM) Department in the final match.

The keenly contested encounter attracted a large crowd of supporters as both sides battled intensely for departmental glory.

Speaking after the game, Comrade Abiodun Omotosho, OTM Department President and player, expressed disappointment over the narrow loss. He described the defeat as particularly painful since it was his final appearance before graduation, admitting that “lack of teamwork cost us the match.”

However, for the winners, Computer Science, Comrade Oshagbemi Ebenezer (a.k.a. Eben), spoke and credited the victory to unity and determination. “Our mindset was to take back the trophy. Many doubted us, but today we proved them wrong. This was the toughest match we’ve ever played, but through dedication, hard work, and love for one another, we came out victorious,” he said.

The result restores Computer Science to the summit of the faculty’s football competition, strengthening the department’s reputation for endurance and competitive spirit.
