• JUST IN: FICT Crowns New Mr. FICT, Miss FICT, Miss Social, Top Model

    The Faculty of Information Communication Technology (FICT) of Osun State Polytechnic Iree, has held the selection of Mr. FICT, Miss FICT, Miss Social, and the Top Model show. The selection event took place today Monday, 22nd September, 2025, at the Red Block.


    The colorful event featured a series of interviews and stage questions designed to identify candidates with confidence, talent, and leadership potential. 


    After several rounds of assessment, the following emerged as winners:

    Mr. FICT: Oduntan Samuel Boluwatife, known as Sambroun, from Mass Communication;

    Miss FICT: Olapade Damilola, from Mass Communication;

    Miss Top Model: Igwe Charis C. known as ChaCha from Office Technology Management (OTM);

    Miss Social: James Okikiola Eunice, known Kiki, from Mass Communication.

    Expressing his excitement, newly crowned Mr. FICT, Samuel thanked God for the honor, describing the title as “a responsibility to inspire, represent, and build an uncommon era of unity, creativity, and progress for the faculty.”

    Miss Social, Okikiola, admitted she initially felt nervous but was overjoyed to win. “I felt somehow before, but now I’m really happy I got the post, and I thank God,” she said.

    The faculty executives who witnessed the selection process praised the contestants for their courage and boldness for stepping forward for the posts.

    During interview session with Hon. Comr. Oyedokun Ayobami Michael (Whitemoney), FICT Social Director, he assured students that the selection was “fair and transparent,” stressing that competence and vision outweighed popularity. 

    “My advice to the winners is to lead with humility and serve with commitment,” he added, urging the student body to support their new ambassadors.

    Other dignitaries present included Hon. Comr. Ajilore Victor Ayomide (Lonewolf), FICT Sports Director; Hon. Comr. Osagbami Ebenezer Damilola (E-ben), NACOS Sports Director; Comr. Jayeoba Damilare (Jason); Comr. Olomola Divine (Tunbispecial); Comr. Idowu Olamide (Priceless); and Comr. Ajayi Tolani (TinaGold), all of whom helped coordinate the event.

    The celebration ended with cheers and photo sessions as the new titleholders prepared to represent FICT in upcoming campus activities and to serve as role models for fellow students.
