OSPOLY SUG Executives, SRC Assures Students Constructive Engagement With Management For Possible Solution On Acceptance Fee Increment

The newly elected Students Union Government executives and Students Representatives Council (SRC) of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has recently announced its plans to have constructive engagement with the school Management, discussing possible solution on the recent acceptance fee increment.
The announcement was contained in an official statement released and signed by SUG president-elect, Comrade Ajayi Kehinde Emmanuel and general secretary-elect, Comrade Odudu Anuoluwapo Titilayo through PRO-elect, Comrade Akinloye Lateef Oyinlola.
It would be recall that the school Management recently released an internal memorandum, announcing a review of acceptance fees for fresh students for 2025/2026 academic session. The fees was increased from the sum of #35,000.00 to #50,000.00.

In the light of this, the students union statement titled "Notice Of Meeting Between The Student’s Union Council and The Dean Of Student Affairs," stressed that "a meeting has been scheduled with the Dean of Student Affairs on Monday, 13th October 2025, to discuss this pressing issue and seek possible reconsideration of the fee increment.
"We therefore, appeal to all students especially ND and HND aspirants to remain calm, law-abiding, and peaceful while we engage the school management constructively on your behalf. Rest assured that the Students’ Union is committed to ensuring a positive resolution to this matter and will provide timely updates as discussions progress," the statement said.
