BREAKING: Fire Guts Amicable Hostel, Iree, Osun State
A fire outbreak happened on Thursday night at Amicable Hostel located around Saleem Church in Iree, Osun State.
The incident, which began at about 9:40 p.m., was reportedly said to be caused by an electrical fault.
An eye witness said flames spread quickly through parts of the building before help could arrive from the fire fighters.
Properties and documents of students were said to be destroyed in the blaze, with no record of death or injuries.
Attempts to reach occupants and victims for further details proved unsuccessful, leaving many questions about the extent of the damage unanswered.
