The Dean of Student Affairs (DSA) of Osun State Polytechnic (OSPOLY), Iree, Dr. Olutope Abiola, during the ongoing orientation has cautioned newly admitted students against paying money to unauthorized individuals under any guise.
Dr. Abiola gave the warning on Thursday at the programme for fresh students held at the PLT Building.
He emphasizes that students are only required to pay approved school fees and should disregard any individual who demands additional payments without official authorization.
“If anyone comes to your class or approaches you to pay any money apart from your approved school fees, report such a person immediately to the Department of Student Affairs,” he advised.
The DSA assured the students that the Office of Student Affairs remains open and accessible to all students for complaints, guidance, and support.
He further encouraged them as they are new on campus to promptly report any form of exploitation, harassment, or intimidation either within or outside the campus, assuring them that appropriate action would be taken.
