• ENGINEERING STUDENTS TO HOLD SEMINAR ON INNOVATION, LEADERSHIP, SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

    The Nigerian Association of Technologists in Engineering Students Association (NATESA), Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, is set to hold a seminar themed "Engineering the Future: Innovation, Leadership, and Sustainable Development" on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at the FE3 Hall of the institution.


    The seminar, scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m., is designed to equip engineering students with knowledge of emerging technologies, leadership, innovation, and sustainable engineering practices needed to excel in today's evolving professional environment.



    According to the organisers, the programme is designed to empower the next generation of engineering technologists to drive innovation, inspire leadership, and contribute to sustainable development. It is also expected to expose participants to industry trends and opportunities within the engineering profession.



    The Chairman of the Nigerian Association of Technologists in Engineering (NATE), Osun State Chapter, Engr. Tech. Hassan Babatunde Adegbola, will serve as the Chief Host.



    Expected dignitaries include the Dean, Faculty of Engineering, Engr. I. O. Ogunwemimo; the Chairman, NATE OSPOLY Chapter, Engr. Olawoyin O. S.; and the President of NATESA, Comrade Adeleke Abdulquadri Ajibola.


    The organisers described the seminar as highly recommended for all Engineering students, particularly HND II students, as part of their academic and professional development.


    Engineering students have been encouraged to attend the seminar and take advantage of the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, broaden their knowledge, and prepare for the future of the engineering profession.
