• OSPOLY Announces Two-Day Free Eye Clinic for Students

    The Management of Osun State Polytechnic (OSPOLY), Iree, has announced a two-day general eye clinic for all students as part of efforts to promote eye health and provide access to professional eye care services on campus.


    The exercise, according to an internal memorandum issued by the Directorate of Student Affairs dated July 31, 2026, will hold on Tuesday, August 4, and Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at the Medical Health Centre, OSPOLY, Iree Campus, beginning at 9:00 a.m. each day.


    The memorandum, signed by Paul F. Olawoyin on behalf of the Dean of Student Affairs, stated that the eye clinic will be conducted by a team of specialists from Holy Trinity Catholic Eye Clinic, Iree.


    According to the notice, the programme will include comprehensive eye screening, eye health consultation, prescription of glasses where necessary, and health education on proper eye care.


    The management advised all students to take advantage of the opportunity to have their eyes examined by qualified professionals and benefit from the free services provided.


    The institution also called on members of the Polytechnic community to give the exercise the necessary publicity to ensure maximum participation among students.
