JUST IN: FICT-SLC Constitutes, Inaugurates ISEC Ahead of Faculty Election

The Faculty of Information and Communication Technology Students’ Legislative Council (FICT-SLC) on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, constituted and inaugurated the Independent Students’ Electoral Committee (ISEC) ahead of the faculty’s forthcoming election.
The exercise was held at the Library and Information Science (LIS) Department, with eight members inaugurated to oversee the electoral process.
The newly inaugurated ISEC comprises Afolabi Ifeoluwa Abraham as Chairman, Adegoke Abiodun Moses as General Secretary, Rasak Kehinde Olawumi as Public Relations Officer, and Olaiya Abdulramon Olamilekan, Onatobi Noah Olasunkanmi, Olalekan Qasim Anifata, Oladele Daniel Opeyemi, and Olaitan Yusuf Ayinade as members.
In a congratulatory message, the FICT-SLC urged the committee to discharge its responsibilities with fairness, transparency, and credibility, while working collectively in the interest of the faculty.
The council also expressed confidence in a peaceful and transparent electoral process under the committee’s supervision.
